We are looking for a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor with a mechanical specialization to support our tendering and pre-contract activities. You will be responsible for quantifying mechanical works, pricing bills of quantities, and ensuring clarity of scope during the tender stage.
Key Responsibilities:
Study tender drawings, specifications, and related documents.
Define and clarify the scope of mechanical works.
Perform quantity take-off for mechanical services based on tender drawings.
Prepare and price Bills of Quantities (BOQ) under the guidance of the Tender Manager.
Assist in compiling cost estimates and tender submissions.
Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams as required.
Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Major:
Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, preferably within the UAE/GCC construction industry
.
Proven experience in tender analysis, quantity take-off, and BOQ pricing for mechanical systems.
Professional Certifications:
Not mandatory, but any relevant certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) will be an advantage.
Language & Computer Skills:
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Other Skills:
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
Ability to work under tight deadlines within a team environment.
Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam) is a plus.
