to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) quantity surveying, with a proven track record of handling complex construction projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for MEP works.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
Conduct site measurements and verify subcontractor claims and variations.
Prepare and manage interim valuations and final accounts.
Monitor project budgets and prepare cost reports.
Assist in contract negotiations and procurement of MEP subcontractors and materials.
Coordinate with MEP engineers, consultants, and project managers to ensure cost efficiency and project timelines.
Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
Maintain documentation and cost control systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
8-10 years of relevant experience, with
strong exposure to UAE construction projects
.
Proven experience in both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and local authority regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX, or similar).
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Currently based in
Dubai
or willing to relocate.
