Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

MEP Quantity Surveyor

to manage the costing and commercial aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works across our projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in MEP estimation, cost control, procurement, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and specifications. Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material and labor requirements. Review subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness. Assist in tender preparation, cost estimation, and value engineering. Track project budgets and manage cost control processes. Prepare and submit interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts. Monitor variations, change orders, and assess cost impacts. Conduct site visits to verify actual quantities and completed works. Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure accurate reporting. Maintain records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation. Support in procurement and vendor selection for MEP packages.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, preferably in the UAE. Familiar with MEP systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software. Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
