to join our development quality control team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and HVAC works are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
You will play a key role in maintaining project integrity, conducting inspections, and ensuring that the delivered works meet our company's high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and quality checks for all
MEP works
-- mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Review and approve MEP drawings, material submittals, and other project documents to ensure they comply with specifications and standards.
Perform regular inspections of ongoing MEP installations to check for quality, safety, and compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test documentation, and quality control records.
Check incoming materials, equipment, and finished work against approved samples, drawings, and quality standards. Verify material deliveries and ensure that only approved materials are used at the site.
Review and approve method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and QA/QC procedures.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams to resolve quality issues.
Witness and oversee the testing and commissioning of MEP systems (like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) to ensure they function correctly before project completion.
Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and audits. This includes preparing and submitting regular reports on findings and progress.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and facilitate resolutions.
Monitor and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
Ensure that all MEP work is performed in a safe manner and in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
.
Minimum of
5 years' experience
in QA/QC inspection for MEP works in
construction or infrastructure projects
.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
Familiarity with
QA/QC standards, ISO 9001, and relevant inspection/testing codes
.
Proficient in MS Office and capable of preparing accurate inspection reports.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Certification in
QA/QC, ISO, or related fields
(preferred).
