Job Description

We are looking for accomplished MEP QA/QC engineer with extensive expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control across major construction and infrastructure projects. Proven ability to establish and enforce robust quality systems aligned with international standards, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and flawless project execution. Skilled in developing and implementing quality plans, inspection and testing protocols, and commissioning strategies that enhance performance, mitigate risks, and guarantee the safe, reliable operation of critical systems. Recognized for leading multidisciplinary teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards.

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Assurance & MEP Compliance

Lead and execute comprehensive inspections of MEP installations to verify strict adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, and international codes. Ensure construction quality at every stage, proactively addressing deviations and enforcing corrective measures to uphold the highest standards of safety and performance.

Testing & Commissioning Oversight

Supervise, witness, and validate testing and commissioning activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems. Guarantee system functionality, operational safety, and full compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements prior to acceptance.

Quality Documentation & Reporting

Develop, review, and maintain complete quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, checklists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Deliver accurate, transparent reporting to support accountability, traceability, and efficient project closeout.

Third-Party Inspection Management

Coordinate and oversee third-party inspections, engaging with independent agencies, consultants, and authorities to verify compliance with technical standards and contractual requirements. Ensure timely approvals to facilitate smooth project execution.

Method Statements & ITP Development

Prepare and validate Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and related quality control procedures. Establish clear, compliant, and practical guidelines to align with execution strategies and ensure consistency across all construction and commissioning activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Issue Resolution

Engage collaboratively with construction teams, consultants, and clients to resolve quality concerns. Provide expert technical guidance, foster constructive dialogue, and implement corrective solutions that sustain progress and client confidence.

Regulatory Compliance & Authority Liaison

Prepare and submit documentation to relevant authorities, ensuring all systems meet statutory and regulatory requirements. Lead compliance reviews and confirm that systems are fully functional, certified, and ready for official inspection and approval.

Training, Handover & Documentation

Oversee project handover processes, developing comprehensive system manuals, training materials, and O&M documentation. Deliver training sessions for end-users and client representatives to ensure seamless transition, operational readiness, and long-term system reliability.

3. QUALIFICATIONS

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through complex QA/QC and commissioning phases. In-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Commissioning processes in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of HAVC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Fighting and plumbing systems. Strong knowledge in authorities requirements and T&C procedures. strong knowledge in submittals perpetration and review proficiency in AutoCAD and design tools Must have UPDA Certificate (Grade A or B) Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while driving a zero-defect culture.
