Develop and implement sourcing strategies adapting to MEP construction industry and demand trends.
Setting up processes, rules for managing supply of MEP products.
Knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in the MEP construction industry and their suppliers.
Evaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiates purchase agreements with them.
Procure MEP equipment, materials, and systems complying with the project quality and specification requirements.
Negotiate purchase/supply terms and conditions.
Procure materials and subcontracts in a timely manner within the approved cost budget.
Assist estimation department and management team in preparing project budgets.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Ensure on-time delivery of equipment and materials to support site installation works as per the approved work program.
Ensure compliance with time, cost, and quality constraints.
Develop and maintain good relationship with manufacturers and suppliers.
Conduct vendor evaluation and registration.
Assess supplier/contractor performance re: quality, cost, delivery, service.
Any other tasks may be assigned by line-manager.
