We are looking for an experienced

MEP Procurement Officer

to manage the procurement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials and services for our fitout projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in MEP procurement within the fitout or construction industry and a strong vendor network, particularly within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and source MEP materials and subcontractor services in line with project specifications and timelines. Review and analyze project BOQs, drawings, and technical documents to determine procurement requirements. Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations) and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, delivery, and compliance with project specifications. Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet project milestones. Maintain and update a database of approved vendors, material catalogs, and price lists. Coordinate closely with the project, site, and MEP teams to forecast material needs. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulatory requirements. Track and manage purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels. Liaise with finance for payment processing and cost control.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. Minimum

3+ years of experience

in MEP procurement, preferably in the

interior fitout or construction

sector. Strong knowledge of MEP materials, suppliers, and market rates in the UAE. Familiar with UAE local authority requirements (DEWA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.). Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems). Strong analytical and documentation skills.
