The Role

As part of the development of its MENA business, and overall global growth this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused MEP Building Services Lead to join our team at our office in Dubai, to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the Middle East and worldwide.

As a leading figure in our established team of expert engineers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will be responsible for the technical excellence of the MEP design teams in the Middle East and will also act as MEP lead on project delivery. You will work across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Aviation, Retail, Hospitality etc. and take responsibility for the management of projects to achieve financial and time deadlines - attending and leading project and design meetings to ensure successful planning, allocation, and coordination of work.

You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

In addition to the technical delivery aspect of the role you will also be responsible for the successful leadership of the MEP team with respect to development of the team members, instilling a high performance culture and the overall commercial management. The Skills

A Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent), you will have gained vast experience in an engineering role within a building services context in a consultancy environment within the Middle East. You have proven your technical expertise, leadership skills and have a portfolio of experience demonstrating your quality and client-focused approach.

In your most recent position, you would have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams to deliver to and exceed client expectations, and crucially - you have a passion for creative and innovative design.

Given the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role, excellent communication and project management skills are essential.
