The MEP Foreman for the Landscape Construction Division is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities on landscape construction projects. The role involves leading a team of technicians, and ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements.
Develop detailed MEP work plans and coordinate activities with other construction teams.
Ensure the efficient use of resources and timely completion of MEP tasks. Supervision and Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of MEP technicians.
Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure work is progressing according to plans.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team. Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control measures for MEP installations.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Material and Equipment Management:
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or excesses. Safety Compliance:
Enforce and promote a safety-first culture on the construction site.
Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Communication:
Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
Provide regular progress updates to project management. Problem Resolution:
Identify and address MEP-related issues promptly.
Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to find effective solutions. Documentation:
