We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to design, implement, and oversee smart building solutions for high-end residential projects. This role requires a blend of technical MEP expertise, an understanding of KNX automation, and strong commercial acumen for managing suppliers and procurement.

Responsibilities:

Design MEP systems with integrated building automation solutions for luxury residential projects. Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure the interoperability of lighting, security, and sound systems. Review and analyze supplier quotations, perform price comparisons, and manage the procurement and import process of specialized items. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for MEP and automation systems. Review and validate 3D models (Revit/AutoCAD) and technical schematics to ensure system alignment. Program and integrate control systems; a functional understanding of ETS software for configuring KNX devices is a significant plus. Commission and test installations to ensure seamless performance. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to align project goals. Supervise on-site installation and troubleshooting of MEP and automated systems. Provide training to clients and prepare O&M documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.

KNX Basic Certification

or a strong proven understanding of KNX systems. 2-5 years of MEP engineering experience, specifically within the residential sector. Proven UAE project experience and familiarity with import procedures and local supplier networks. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building automation protocols. Understanding of UAE building codes and DM regulations.
