We are currently recruiting for an MEP Engineer to join our team at Transguard Group.
Scope
To provide efficient and effective support to reporting manager for running smooth facility management operations as per the Maintenance strategy. Responsible to provide technical support on ground to team of technicians and supervisors while managing office functions including: Work Order coordination and verification, PPM compliance and RCA for breakdowns.
Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining records such as staff training, PPM data base, breakdown history and reports related to all specialist services.
This position is field-based role, and often requires work irregular hours. Some jobs may even be in remote locations., well-suited to people with strong technical skills who have an interest in the environment and enjoy finding solutions to problems.
Responsibilities
Assist the Operations Manager in all aspects of project implementation as needed
Support the Facilities Manager with external contacts as needed
Coordinate all Facilities activities, work direction, and support systems
Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities
Provide technical supervision to on site team where required
Provide the training to team and contractors as needed and maintain the record
Independently maintain and update administrative policies and processes
Set up, maintain, and organize department\'s central files, information, filing, and messages
Prepare SOW, BOQ, RFQ for works related to operations but not limited to ad-hoc requirements
Review and control of KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and SLA related with contractual obligation
Provide all general administrative support to the Facilities team
Support Operations Manager in performing Risk Assessment Analysis for any breakdown
Evaluate operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies
Perform random inspection for the quality of work performed by on site team
Introduce innovation and continues improvement across the facility
Perform condition Audits of Assets and Facility when required
Witness testing and commissioning of all assets, facility infrastructure and review performance parameters
Assist the Operations Manager in establishing and implementing Energy Management on site
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards
Responsible for maintaining accurate asset registers per TG maintenance strategy & Policy
Investigate the root cause of energy consumption data abnormalities
Work in collaboration with the Health and Safety department to understand the implications of health and safety regulations and ensure adherence to legislation and policy
Skills
Knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 Experience
A minimum of 3 years in a similar position
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering
Knowledge on Irrigation system, nutrition and RO plants will be additional benefit

Facility management knowledge
Extensive knowledge and well versed in standard MEP
Prior knowledge of specialized systems
Knowledge of the building process and construction principles
Hotel experience
Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
