Review and prepare electrical design drawings, load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLD), and technical submittals.
Ensure all electrical designs comply with DEWA requirements, Dubai Municipality standards, and UAE regulations.
Assist in preparing BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Supervise installation of electrical systems including wiring, conduits, panels, breakers, distribution boards (DBs), lighting, earthing, and containment systems.
Conduct regular inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
Prepare and submit DEWA applications for approvals, load requirements, and NOCs.
Coordinate with DEWA inspectors for site visits, approvals, and compliance checks.
Ensure timely processing of all DEWA-related documentation.
Oversee and manage corrective and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, equipment failures, and power issues.
Maintain maintenance logs and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Prepare progress reports, method statements, and work schedules.
Coordinate with MEP teams, civil engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and risk assessment procedures.
Supervise adherence to UAE HSE regulations during electrical installations and maintenance.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices on site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Dubai in electrical engineering.
Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations, standards, and submission processes.
Experience in both new construction electrical works and electrical maintenance.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, load calculations, and safety standards.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
