Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified

Mechanical Engineer specialized in Firefighting Systems

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid technical and practical experience in

estimation, design coordination, documentation, and site supervision

of firefighting systems, with full knowledge of

UAE Civil Defense requirements

from design submission to final approval.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

estimations, cost analysis, and quotations

for firefighting projects based on tender documents, drawings, and specifications. Review

firefighting design drawings

, hydraulic calculations, and ensure compliance with

UAE Civil Defense codes and NFPA standards

. Prepare and submit

technical documentation

for

Civil Defense approval

, including all required drawings, data sheets, and compliance forms. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and Civil Defense officers throughout the

approval and inspection process

until final approval is obtained. Plan, execute, and supervise

site installation works

for firefighting systems such as sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hose reels, hydrants, and FM-200 systems. Ensure materials and installation methods meet approved specifications and safety standards. Monitor

project progress, manpower allocation

, and ensure timely completion of works. Prepare

as-built drawings

, test reports, and completion documents for project handover. Liaise with the procurement team for material selection and vendor coordination. Conduct

testing, commissioning, and maintenance

of firefighting systems as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum

5 years of UAE experience

in firefighting systems. Strong knowledge of

UAE Civil Defense regulations

,

NFPA

, and local authority procedures. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

MS Office

, and firefighting design/estimation software. Excellent communication, documentation, and site supervision skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently. Valid

UAE driving license

required.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
