We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
MEP Engineer
with strong experience in interior
fit-out projects
to join our UAE-based team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete MEP scope from design review and coordination to site execution and final handover ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within high-end interior spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, review, and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems based on project requirements.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure integrated and conflict-free MEP designs.
Prepare and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and energy efficiency analysis.
Ensure compliance with all local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction phases.
Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and procurement of MEP equipment and materials.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality installation.
Prepare progress reports, documentation, and handover documents.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
Minimum
4-6 years of experience
in MEP engineering, specifically within
interior fit-out projects in the UAE
.
Strong knowledge of UAE codes and regulations (DEWA, DCD, DM, etc.).
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant MEP design/review software.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple sites and work in a fast-paced environment.
UAE driving license is preferred.
