Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in the MEP industry to join our team. The Mechanical Engineer (Estimation) will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical evaluations, and quotations for mechanical systems in line with project requirements. The role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and related MEP systems, with the ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to support the company's bidding and business development process.

Key Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope and client requirements. Develop cost estimates to prepare competitive quotations. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best possible pricing and technical compliance. Prepare and submit technical & commercial proposals within stipulated deadlines. Coordinate with the engineering and project teams for technical clarifications. Analyze project risks and value engineering options, and propose cost-effective solutions. Maintain an updated database of suppliers, subcontractors, and market price trends. Assist in negotiations with clients and consultants during tender finalization. Support management in identifying opportunities for cost optimization and business growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estimation, tendering, or cost engineering within the MEP sector in UAE. Excellent knowledge in advanced Excel Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
