to join our dynamic fit-out team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring designs are functional, cost-effective, and comply with local regulations and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV) for interior fit-out projects.
Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure alignment with project requirements and standards.
Conduct technical evaluations and support procurement by reviewing and approving MEP materials and equipment.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.
Monitor site progress and ensure MEP work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on site promptly.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
Prepare regular progress reports and attend project coordination meetings.
Support the estimation and tendering teams by providing MEP inputs and value engineering solutions.
Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, civil, ID) to avoid clashes and ensure integrated delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum
4-6 years
of relevant experience in MEP works, preferably in the
interior fit-out
industry.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation practices.
Familiarity with local authority approvals and documentation process (e.g., DEWA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.).
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP-related software (e.g., Revit, Dialux, HAP is a plus).
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
Preferred:
Experience working in the UAE or GCC market.
Valid UAE driving license
