JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are hiring an ambitious MEP engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineer) for our

Construction company.

Engineer will be in charge of setting up, integrating, and also making sure that the entire MEP system is working in the buildings.

MEP engineers join hands with architects and contractors to incorporate such systems as a part of the whole building approach, emphasizing compliance with codes and guidelines. A significant aspect of building projects is the proper functioning and longevity of which these engineers oversee installations, diagnose problems, and give recommendations for equipment advancements.

Roles and Duties:

Plan and install HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in structures. Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate the incorporation of MEP designs. Perform calculations, prepare sketches, and use modeling programs. Maintain consistency with building codes and energy standards. Monitor the installation of systems on site and manage the testing process. Address problems and make suggestions for system enhancement. Oversee the management of schedules and project funding. Draft paperwork and prepare manuals after maintenance work is completed. Document data and information regarding contracts accurately.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required

Bachelor's Degree

or equivalent in: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering Related field. A Professional Engineer (PE) license may be required according to specific needs. Professional certifications such as Certified Plumbing Engineer (CPE), Certified Electrical Engineer (CEE), Certified Mechanical Engineer (CME), and others are suggested.

Minimum 3 years

of professional experience in mechanical, electrical, or civil projects. Strong knowledge of MEP software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks). Expertise in codes, rules, and regulations related to building. Problem-solving abilities and leadership skills. Good communication and negotiation skills. Adaptability and flexibility. Project management skills. Attention to detail.
