Our client, a leading & innovative maintenance service provider is looking for a MEP Engineer for their office based in Al Quoz, Dubai.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for administering the Maintenance Contracts and supervision and management of Service Coordinators, team leaders and working closely with Maintenance Administrator / MEP Projects supervisors.

Management of service quotations, ensure Responsive and Planned maintenance repair works quotations and content are accurate, properly specified and offer value for money.

Assist Project Manager in timelines on MEP Projects and hold periodic meetings with service supervisors and team leaders to identify problems, service delivery, deviation from procedure and relay management instructions.

Assist Project supervisors in preparation of MEP BOQ\xe2\x80\x99s clauses and quotations and ensure adequately specified and priced for value for money.

Overseeing and Manage the day to day tasks for Service Coordinators and team leaders and provide support and advice on technical problems that may occur during service calls.

Managing Service coordinators to ensure they are executing maintenance works correctly and adhere to an allocated timeline, in accordance to terms of maintenance contracts and acceptable standard of workmanship.

Liaising with maintenance coordinators to ensure the correct amount of labor is allocated to Maintenance contract works.

Liaising with clients via email about the quotation and seeking client\xe2\x80\x99s approval in writing. Three quotations must be obtained from suppliers for materials exceeding 500 AED.

Drafting of all requisition forms and liaising with the procurement to ensure material are being ordered and delivered to the site for incorporation into the works. Also ensure stock of parts that are frequently used are always in stock.

Responsible for all service staff and subcontractors on site, and responsible for financial and operational performance of the maintenance contract.

Attending maintenance services meetings and assisting with surveys for involved MEP related service / projects.

Liaising with accounts and collections when a job is approved and ensuring payments from clients is received prior to commencement of works.

Ensure Job cards from team leaders for completed works are handed over to Coordinators. Job cards for uncompleted replacement works are referred to Service Coordinators for specifying and preparing quotations for client\xe2\x80\x99s approval.

Ensure uncompleted major works that are not of replacement are referred to projects with the services Job number canceled and new Project number issued.

Consult with procurement to ensure quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for services MEP works are delivered and sent to clients for approval.

Managing the compilation of completion letters once jobs are completed and where works are not completed, clients are notified and informed as to progress to final completion.

Managing service documents and contracts procedures are adhered to by service Coordinators team leaders.

Assist the Maintenance manager to compile and enforce new procedures to make work more efficient and accurate.

Record customer complaints and monitor timely resolution and ensure clients are satisfied with the final outcome.

Deputies in the absence of a Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical

7-10 years of experience in MEP industry.
