Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

MEP Engineer

with a strong background in

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)

systems and

facility maintenance

. The ideal candidate will oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all MEP assets, ensuring maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure reliability of all building systems. Diagnose faults, perform troubleshooting, and implement timely corrective actions. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for maintenance, repair, and replacement of MEP components. Review maintenance logs, checklists, and work orders for accuracy and compliance. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during all maintenance activities. Monitor energy usage and recommend cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency. Prepare maintenance reports, performance summaries, and budget forecasts for management review. Liaise with facility management teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations. Support technical inspections, audits, and compliance with local authority regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP projects and facility maintenance Strong background in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical and plumbing MMUP/UPDA certification (Grade A or B preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience in Facilities Management or large-scale building operations is an advantage Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills Valid Qatar Driving License Immediate joining is preferable
