Job Description

Job Purpose:

This position is repsonsible to plan, coordinate, and manage the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, timelines, and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review MEP drawings, technical submittals, and shop drawings in alignment with project specifications and standards. Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to integrate MEP systems smoothly into the overall construction process. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, electrical, ELV systems, etc.). Monitor MEP subcontractor works to ensure progress, quality, and safety compliance. Participate in design review meetings and suggest improvements or modifications for optimized system performance. Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors. Conduct regular site inspections and prepare reports for progress, delays, and risks. Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and work permits for MEP activities. Ensure that all MEP work is carried out as per the latest approved drawings and project specifications. Maintain updated documentation and records of all MEP-related activities. Support procurement activities by providing technical specifications and reviewing vendor offers. Lead or assist in the testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 10 years of experience in MEP works within civil construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure). Proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and leadership skills.
