Job Description

MEP Engineer Dubai building contracting with hands-on experience for designing, coordinating, and supervising the installation of mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings to ensure they are functional, safe, code-compliant, and integrate seamlessly with the overall construction project.

Key responsibilities include system design, load calculations, equipment selection, code compliance, site supervision, contractor coordination, budget management, and troubleshooting to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning:Create detailed designs, layouts, and technical specifications for HVAC, electrical power, lighting, plumbing, and fire alarm systems. Coordination:Work with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems are integrated smoothly into the overall building design and structure. Code Compliance:Ensure all designed and installed systems meet local building codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency standards. Site Supervision:Oversee the on-site installation of MEP systems, monitor quality, and ensure work progresses according to plans and schedules. Project Management:Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for the MEP scope of work. Technical Analysis:Perform load calculations, system analysis, and equipment selection for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components. Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during construction and post-completion.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field. Experience:Relevant experience in construction and MEP system design and installation in UAE Minimum 4-5 years is a MUST. Software Proficiency:Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering design software. Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical power, lighting, plumbing, and relevant safety systems. Communication:Ability to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients.
