MEP Engineer

The MEP Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building and infrastructure projects. This role ensures that all MEP systems are designed and executed in compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations, while optimizing performance, cost, and sustainability.

Required Electro Mechanical Engineer with minimum 7 years experience in UAE.

Preferred people from western Region Abu Dhabi.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering

Develop and review detailed MEP designs, drawings, and specifications. Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system design for HVAC, electrical, fire protection, water supply, and drainage systems. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Evaluate design alternatives to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Project Coordination & Execution

Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project requirements. Supervise site execution to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to timelines. Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve design or technical issues.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations. Conduct inspections and testing to verify system performance. Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, as-built drawings, and project records.

Cost & Time Management

Prepare material take-offs, estimates, and budgets for MEP systems. Support project planning and scheduling activities related to MEP work. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
