Job Description
We are looking for a qualified
MEP Engineer
, responsible for preparing, designing, and implementing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in accordance with local and international standards.Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare preliminary drawings for obtaining approvals from the relevant authorities. Prepare final shop drawings for all MEP systems (Electrical, Plumbing, Communications, Mechanical). Supervise the execution of MEP works on site and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Coordinate with architectural and structural design teams to ensure system integration. Prepare bills of quantities, technical specifications, and periodic reports. Ensure compliance with Civil Defense and other authorities' requirements regarding fire and safety systems.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the design and execution of MEP projects. Proficiency in design software. Solid knowledge of international codes . Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills with different stakeholders. Must have UAE experience and knowledge of local authority approval procedures Valid driving license (required).
