Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced MEP Engineer to join our team at ART DOMAIN INTERIORS AND CONTRACTING GENERAL MAINTENANCE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a diverse range of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Responsibilities:



Developing detailed designs, specifications, and drawings for HVAC, electrical power distribution, lighting, low-current, fire alarm, plumbing, and drainage systems using CAD and other relevant software. Performing engineering calculations, load estimations, and equipment selections to optimize system performance and energy efficiency. Collaborating effectively with architects, structural engineers, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Conducting site inspections, identifying potential issues or discrepancies, and proposing effective solutions to resolve design or construction challenges. Ensuring all MEP designs and installations comply with relevant local and international building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Preparing comprehensive reports, technical documentation, operation & maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited university. Minimum 2 years of progressive professional experience in MEP design and/or construction supervision within commercial, residential, and other relevant projects. Proven proficiency in relevant engineering software including CAD software, MEP design and analysis tools, and other relevant applications. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing principles and systems. In-depth knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
