A self-motivated, result-oriented, and professional Engineer with 04+ Years of organizational experience in MEP Construction Industry. Proficiency in Quantity Survey of the materials for all Mechanical Systems as per the actual site conditions. Ensuring the completion of the project as per the Approved Construction Drawings, Contract Documents, Project Specifications, and all applicable standards. Ensure that execution of Mechanical Works is within provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance System relevant to Business Unit. Possess an in-depth knowledge of executing Mechanical Works related to Residential & Commercial Buildings.

Responsibilities / Authorities

• Checking and taking charge of all Mechanical system installations in accordance with authorized Shop Drawings, in compliance with project specifications and standards.

• Monitoring and tracking overall project progress and writing up reports and monitoring the same for improving the progress rate at sites.

• Monitoring and tracking progress of subcontractors / suppliers and reviewing their progress reports and programs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in authority portal like Etisalat I-supplier and Tech-claim portal. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attending weekly progress meeting with client Etisalat management.

• Accurately estimate costs for various project components, considering factors such as labour, materials, equipment\xe2\x80\x99s, subcontractors, permits and overhead expenses.

• Raising enquiry related to new floating tenders and RFI.

• Experience of Participate tendering with Etisalat, ADDC, Emirates steel.

• Thoroughly studied Tender documents and SOW before to bid.

• Attending Techno-Commercial meeting with Etisalat regarding the participated tender.

• Negotiate contractors and prices with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best value for money.

• Experience of preparing planning schedule and identify critical path and milestone in the project.

• Handling Time sheet of site team.

• Work on tender drawing and develop shop drawing.

• Approach to consultant to the approval of shop drawing and the submitted to authorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 To prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.

• To analyse mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.

• Continually review the contractor\xe2\x80\x99s construction schedule during the progress of the site works regarding MEP services and report to the Project Director.

• Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team.

• Review Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s shop drawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Project Director with appropriate comments/approval within the specified contractual period.Review the contractor\xe2\x80\x99s mechanical shop drawing with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering coordination and advise the Project Director accordingly.

• Where required, prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and coordination issues.

• Undertake a prior review of the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s proposed mechanical system testing & commissioning methods and schedule.

• Witness on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing, and other testing that may be required during the first fix works and advise the Project Director accordingly.

• On a spot basis, witness mechanical system final testing and commissioning.

• Undertake final project snagging and prepare a list of defects for the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical engineering.

• Diploma in MEP.

• Knowledge of Design Parameters for MEP services

• High Proficiency in Computer Software\xe2\x80\x99s.

• 4 + Year of experience in Construction field.
