Jacobs joint venture Programme Management Consultant (PMC) role has been extended to cover the Expo City legacy transition and legacy. In its role as Expo City\xe2\x80\x99s real estate delivery partners on this project, Jacobs are providing full-service consultancy including scheduling, project controls, cost and commercial management, design and delivery management, handover to contract close out.

As part of the Programme Management Consulting team, we are seeking a Director to oversee MEP, covering a broad spectrum of responsibility including assuring and integrating appropriate technical and MEP solutions across the Expo City development. You will be acting as the key client facing representative for all delivery programme wide systems for delivery, commissioning and integration and would cover:

• Leading and managing the EXPO City MEP team
• Establishing sitewide strategies for MEP related elements
• Acting as key point of contact for delivery programme for interfacing with client technology and security teams, with complex technology networks and systems integration
• Managing sitewide specialist consultants from development of briefs through procurement and execution
• Reviewing MEP and technical design submissions to assure and integrate consistently across the Expo City programme
• Operating as the custodian of testing, commissioning and handover process for all Expo City projects managed by PMC
• Adding value by challenging and innovating on established methods of technical delivery

Qualifications

As a successful candidate you will have experience in the design and delivery of large complex technical projects or programmes, with extensive technical knowledge related to the holistic and integrated design and delivery of multiple disciplines related to site and building design and engineering. You will be able to demonstrate a pragmatic approach to technical problem solving at programme level where you have been able to add value for clients.

You will be degree qualified in an engineering discipline and ideally come with discipline specific professional registration (Chartered Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Charter Institute of Building Services Engineers, Institute of Engineering and Technology or similar.)
