Job Description

Hiring: MEP Designer (Villa Projects - UAE)



Location:

UAE

Experience:

5+ Years

Availability:

Immediate / Early Joining Preferred

We are looking for a

qualified and experienced MEP Designer

with

strong UAE villa construction experience

to join our team.

Key Responsibilities



Design complete

MEP systems

including

HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection

for

residential and commercial projects

, with strong focus on

villa projects in the UAE

. Ensure designs comply with

UAE local authorities' regulations

(Dubai Municipality, ADSSC, etc.),

international standards

, and

client specifications

. Prepare

detailed 2D/3D drawings

using

AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks

, and coordinate with architectural and civil teams to resolve clashes. Collaborate with senior engineers to

optimize design solutions

, reduce material usage, and improve constructability and cost efficiency. Participate in

design reviews, technical meetings, and client presentations

, updating designs based on feedback and site conditions. Prepare

design calculations, material take-offs, technical specifications

, and ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree or higher in

Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering (MEP specialization)

, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience

in

MEP design

, with

mandatory experience in villa construction projects

. Preference will be given to candidates with experience on

major Middle East projects

. Strong knowledge of

UAE local codes

and

international standards

such as

ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, BS

. Proficient in:

AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks

HVAC load calculation software (

Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE

) Electrical design tools (

ETAP, DIALux

)

Excellent English communication skills

(Arabic is an advantage). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
