to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, drafting, and reviewing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for a variety of building projects. This includes HVAC, lighting, power distribution, water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review MEP designs, layouts, and schematics in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing using design software.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integration of all systems.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing systems and provide design recommendations.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.), and green building regulations (LEED, IGBC).
Support project teams during bidding, procurement, and construction phases.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to RFIs.
Maintain documentation and records for design calculations, reports, and project files.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in MEP design (for junior role) or 5-10 years (for senior role).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MEP analysis software (e.g., HAP, DIALux, ETAP).
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.
Good understanding of energy-efficient systems and sustainable building practices.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
