Are you a highly motivated and qualified MEP Engineer ready to start or accelerate your career in a dynamic consultancy environment? We are seeking a talented Junior MEP Design Engineer to contribute to the planning and design of vital building systems.
The Role: Junior MEP Design Engineer
This role is ideal for a proactive professional with foundational experience in MEP design and a keen desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced firm.
Key Responsibilities
Design Support & Drafting: Assist senior engineers in preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
Calculations Assistance: Support the team in performing load calculations (e.g., heat load, electrical load) and sizing of equipment and systems.
Documentation: Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, equipment schedules, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Standards Compliance: Ensure all design elements comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), Civil Defense, and utility authority (ADDC/ADWEA) regulations under senior supervision.
Coordination: Coordinate MEP design work with architectural and structural drawing sets to identify and resolve basic spatial clashes.
Submittal Preparation: Compile and organize technical documents for authority and client submittals.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in MEP design, preferably within the UAE/GCC.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Registration: Must possess or be eligible to apply for a valid Engineering Registration Card (required by Abu Dhabi authorities).
Software Proficiency: Competent skills in:
AutoCAD (Mandatory)
Revit MEP (Desirable, but training can be provided)
Basic MEP calculation tools.
Local Knowledge: Basic working knowledge of Abu Dhabi (ADM) design codes and submission standards.
