Job Title: MEP Design Engineer - Electrical and Mechanical : We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Engineer with expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems for various construction projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop detailed designs for electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 2. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall project plans. 3. Conduct site assessments to gather relevant data and evaluate existing MEP systems. 4. Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for electrical and mechanical components. 5. Provide guidance on equipment selection, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives. 6. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and within-budget completion of MEP design phases. 7. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in MEP systems. Requirements: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 2. Proven experience in MEP design, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems. 3. Proficient in using relevant design software and tools. 4. Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. 6. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 7. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus. 8. Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient solutions.
