Please Note: We are currently hiring for a Medical Transcriptionist role only. We are not seeking Medical Coders at this time, kindly don't apply with medical coder experience.

Responsibilities:

Transcribe audio recordings of patient diagnoses, procedures, and treatments from doctors and specialists into clear, error-free medical reports. Edit and proofread transcribed reports for grammar, clarity, and correct medical terminology. Distribute completed documents to physicians for review and signature within established deadlines. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all hospital data security policies. Manage and prioritize transcription assignments to ensure timely completion. Maintain and update patient files and records within the hospital's EHR/EMR system.

Qualifications:

Certification in Medical Transcription, Health Information Management, or a related field is required. Minimum of

1+ years

of proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist. Experience gained in your home country is welcome and considered. Exceptional knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, and punctuation. Fast and accurate typing speed. Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain focus on detailed work. High degree of professionalism and an unwavering commitment to patient confidentiality. Proficiency with transcription software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
