We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our esteemed healthcare team in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate coding of medical records for insurance claims, billing, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses, procedures, and treatments based on medical documentation.
Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations and coding standards.
Review and verify medical records and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures for coding.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient health information at all times.
Assist with audits and provide support during claim reviews or denials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
Proven experience in outpatient/inpatient coding is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
Ability to work full-time (minimum 48 hours per week).
