We are seeking a mid-level Medical Rep & Regulatory Operations who will be responsible for leading the end-to-end
product registration
,
importation compliance
, and
distribution setup
for our new line of dietary supplements. This is an individual contributor role, with the opportunity to grow a dedicated team as the business scales.
You will act as the
bridge between the factory (USA, EU, etc..), Dubai Municipality, MOH, and local distribution partners
, ensuring our brand meets all legal, technical, and operational standards for a successful market launch in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Affairs & Compliance
Lead
product registration
with Dubai Municipality (and other local authorities if required).
Ensure product formulas, certificates, and technical documentation are fully aligned with UAE regulations.
Act as the point of contact with
Dubai Municipality
for all compliance-related issues.
Work closely with the
U.S. factory
to align on formulation transparency, production documentation (e.g., CoA, GMP, ISO), and country-specific labeling needs.
Ensure packaging and label content (Arabic translation, usage claims, warnings, etc.) comply with importation standards and legal requirements.

Importation & Market Readiness
Manage all import requirements including pre-approvals, documentation, and labeling criteria.
Oversee shipment preparation from the manufacturing facility to the UAE in coordination with freight and logistics partners.
Collaborate with internal departments and legal advisors to ensure all import documentation is complete and approved.

Distribution & Commercial Execution
Identify, negotiate, and contract with a reputable
UAE-based distributor
with experience in vitamins and nutraceuticals.
Oversee the distributor's activities, including product placement, channel strategy, inventory movement, and sales targets.
Ensure the distributor adheres to their
marketing, merchandising, and promotional responsibilities
as per the agreement.

Marketing & Cross-functional Collaboration
Liaise with our
in-house marketing team and external agency
to ensure branding, packaging, and product storytelling are aligned with regulatory and commercial requirements.
Monitor and review marketing initiatives executed by the distributor for compliance and performance.
Provide market insights, competitive analysis, and regulatory trends to internal stakeholders.
Candidate Profile

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
3-4 years' experience in
vitamins, nutraceuticals, or supplements
in the UAE market.
Hands-on experience with
Dubai Municipality product registration
and import regulations.
Experience working with
international manufacturers or factories
on packaging, compliance, and logistics.
Strong knowledge of the UAE supplement retail ecosystem, including
pharmacies, e-commerce, and distributors

Strong understanding of UAE regulatory and compliance processes.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple regulatory files at once.
Good commercial sense and negotiation skills.
Independent, proactive, and able to work in a startup-like environment.
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
English fluency required; Arabic language skills a plus.
