The Medical Manager identifies and addresses the relevant medical needs externally and internally, to develop and drive medical strategy, objectives, and tactics of the assigned therapeutic areas, across the Middle East to convert clinical innovation into clinical routine. The role covers two priority therapeutic areas, Cardio metabolic and OPG (Oncology, Pathology & Genetics) at 50%-50% ratio.
Your Responsibilities
Interact with Healthcare Professionals (HCP), clinical investigators and KOLs on a peer-to peer level through evidence-based, non-promotional interaction
Act as disease area medical expert for internal business partners in all interactions, activities, and communications requiring medical knowledge and medical input
Link region and affiliate medical plans to global medical and scientific affairs objectives
Ensure all the medical interaction and activities are compliant with the Dia Symphony guidelines, company SOPs, local Codes of Practice and regulations, and put patients at the center of actions
Lead regional implementation of the relevant disease focus medical strategies
Co-develop, and support the implementation of medical strategy & tactics in the countries in line with the global medical plan and strategy, and as part of the overall chapter plan. Particularly on increasing clinical awareness around Roche HMV and key medical messages through different channels, such as Roche event, third parties event, and partnership event
Deliver credible code-compliance medical presentations to HCPs, individually or in groups, either reactively (in response to a medical enquiry) or proactively (to disseminate scientific data best aligned with business needs)
Who You Are
You hold a degree in Medicine, or other medical related degree in life sciences
You built a minimum of 3 years of experience in IVD industry, of which 2 years are in biotechnology organization in a similar/related Medical Manager role
You built experience in oncology/cardio metabolic therapeutic areas
You built experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation, and clinical relevance
You built experience in working with clinicians, KOLs and scientist, and have documented records of HCPs education and interactions
You built advanced communication, presentation, lecturing, teaching skills, and able to facilitate high level health stakeholders interactions
You have advanced interpersonal skills, and are able to understand individual needs and motivation
You are organized, proactive, dynamic, and able to achieve goals with minimal to moderate supervision and direction
