Medical Laboratory Technologist - IVF Clinic

FertiClinic Fertilization Centre LLC - Sharjah

To perform and manage specialized diagnostic, analytical, and technical laboratory procedures related to infertility, andrology, and embryology services under MOH guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and accuracy in patient care.

1. Clinical Laboratory Testing

Perform daily semen analysis, sperm preparation, and cryopreservation. Process and analyze female reproductive samples including follicular fluid and oocytes. Assist in oocyte retrieval, insemination, embryo culture, embryo transfer, and vitrification procedures under supervision (if cross-trained). Maintain strict adherence to IVF-specific quality and safety protocols.

2. Equipment & Quality Control

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments (centrifuges, incubators, microscopes, etc.). Perform internal and external quality control (IQC/EQC) procedures as per MOH and CAP/ISO standards. Ensure strict aseptic techniques and laboratory cleanliness at all times.

3. Documentation & Compliance

Accurately record all lab results, procedures, and patient interactions in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) or manual logs. Follow MOH and facility SOPs, safety guidelines, and infection control policies. Assist in preparing reports for regulatory audits and inspections

4. Team Collaboration

Coordinate with physicians, nurses, embryologists, and admin staff to ensure timely and safe patient services. Participate in internal training and CME activities to maintain MOH license and professional development.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Biomedical Science

License

Valid

MOH Evaluation Letter / License

as Medical Laboratory Technologist

Experience

Minimum 2 years' clinical laboratory experience; IVF/Andrology lab experience preferred

Skills

Microscopy, sperm analysis, sample handling, infection control, documentation accuracy

Language

Proficiency in English
