Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)

to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate must have at least

2 years of hands-on experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory within the UAE

and hold a

valid MLT license

issued by the relevant health authority DHA

Key Responsibilities:

Perform clinical laboratory testing in compliance with CAP standards and internal quality protocols. Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient reporting of test results. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Follow proper procedures for specimen collection, labeling, processing, and storage. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance and control activities. Comply with infection control and safety guidelines at all times. Participate in internal and external audits as part of the CAP accreditation process. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Stay updated with new technologies and procedures relevant to medical laboratory science.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of UAE experience

in a CAP-accredited laboratory (mandatory).

Valid UAE MLT license

(DHA -- as required for the facility). Strong understanding of CAP accreditation standards and quality systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Histopathology. Familiarity with LIS (Laboratory Information Systems). Participation in lab audits and inspections.
