is looking to hire a Medical Underwriter to join our technical team in Dubai. Reporting to the General Manger the incumbent will be responsible for the entire medical underwriting process through a variety of technical tasks.
Responsibilities
Deliver against underwriting and financial measures.
Underwrite risks and handle technical referrals.
Responsible for underwriting both new business and renewals.
Accurately select, assess and price risk in line with underwriting guidance.
Ensure standards are met and the governance framework adhered to.
Develop key internal stakeholder relationships.

Good written and verbal communication skills
Good Presentation Skills.
Education, Experience and Formal/Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Underwriting.
Reading through doctors' reports.
Previous insurance or TPA experience is a must.
Coding knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge of different network tariffs.
Experience in dealing with insurers.
The ability to manage clients, distribution teams, and insurers.
Experience in handling claims.
