As Medical Advisor / MSL, you will play a vital role in improving patient's lives in the territory. BUSINESS AREA The mission of the role is to provide solutions to improve the quality of patients' Lives along with a business driven approach for the therapy area while gaining wide scope of experiences. The position is Field-based responsible for implementation of activities for establishment of scientific leadership of AstraZeneca. This includes development and enhancement of professional relationships with healthcare professionals, building deep scientific understanding of AstraZeneca compounds. Driving positive opinions for the scientific and clinical value of AZ compounds for patients’ needs. Deliver medical education and clinical support to medical professionals, training sales teams and involvement in development of brand strategy. The position may also be involved in review of product materials and response to medical queries. What you’ll do
  • Deliver AstraZeneca updated medical information to HCP’s through various communication channels.
  • Work effectively and efficiently to ensure delivery of clinical studies that meet the quality, cost and time standards set for the study
  • Provide monitoring services for studies ongoing and to ensure the completion of the study from receipt of outline to completion of final study report
  • Effectively plan, conduct and complete assigned project work, providing timely and appropriate progress reports as required
  • Participate in the training and development of team members through sharing of knowledge and coaching
  • Safeguard patients and AstraZeneca by ensuring that adverse event reports are handled according to standards, procedures and legislation such that the business meets its legal, regulatory, professional and ethical obligations.
  • Manage a process for the provision of named patient supplies in compliance with legal, regulatory, professional and ethical obligations.
  • Identify, co-ordinate and integrate pharmacovigilance systems to comply with regulatory needs and AstraZeneca local and global standards

Applicants should possess the following qualifications to go through initial screening:
  • Bachelor’s degree of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Advisor / MSL in Multinational Environment
  • Oncology experience is a must
  • Working towards a professional qualification (MD/PhD/MSc) is a plus
  • Proven managerial, communication & leadership skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to manage a range of stakeholders both internally & externally
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing
