About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Media & Communications Officer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance our organization's visibility and reputation.
Develop and execute comprehensive media and communication strategies aligned with organizational goals
Create engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, social media posts, and website articles
Manage and grow the organization's social media presence across multiple platforms
Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and create compelling stories about our initiatives and achievements
Plan and execute media events, press conferences, and interviews
Monitor media coverage and analyze communication effectiveness using data-driven approaches
Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders
Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing marketing materials and infographics
Manage crisis communications and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in media, communications, or public relations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic
Strong proficiency in social media management and content creation
Experience in public relations and media relations
Solid understanding of the media landscape in Qatar and the Middle East region
Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to analyze data and generate insightful reports on communication effectiveness
Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
