Job Summary
We are looking for a
Mechanical Site Engineer
to oversee and execute mechanical works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical installations are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and execute
mechanical works
including
HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems
Ensure site activities comply with
approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications
Coordinate with
MEP engineers, civil teams, subcontractors, and consultants
Prepare daily site reports and monitor work progress
Inspect materials delivered to site and ensure compliance with approved submittals
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems
Ensure compliance with
HSE and safety regulations
Assist in preparation of
as-built drawings
Attend site and coordination meetings
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
3-7 years of relevant experience in construction projects
Experience in
building services (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting)
Knowledge of
UAE codes and standards
(Civil Defense, DEWA/ADDC/SEWA, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret
MEP drawings and specifications
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(Revit is an advantage)
Good communication and coordination skills
