Job Title:

Firefighting 2 or 4 year Experienced Site Engineer

:

A fire fighting site engineer's responsibilities include overseeing the installation and testing of fire protection systems like sprinklers and alarms, conducting site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, and managing project documentation and timelines. They also collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate fire protection into building designs and may conduct training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the installation of firefighting systems, including sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, and suppression systems. Ensure all work complies with local fire codes, NFPA standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams for smooth execution. Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of firefighting systems. Identify and resolve technical issues related to firefighting installations. Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and quality assurance records. Ensure safety regulations and site protocols are strictly followed.Site and project management

Oversee installations:

Supervise the installation of fire protection systems, such as alarms, suppression systems, and smoke control systems.

Conduct site inspections:

Perform regular inspections to ensure the proper installation and ongoing functionality of systems.

Manage projects:

Handle project timelines, budgets, and prepare necessary project documentation.

Collaborate with teams:

Work with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate fire protection seamlessly into building designs.

Conduct risk assessments:

Evaluate fire hazards and conduct safety assessments for facilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field. Minimum [2-4] years of experience in firefighting system installation and site supervision. Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, local fire safety regulations, and MEP coordination. Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management tools, and technical documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and leadership skills.
