DESCRIPTION:

Supervise and monitor mechanical installations such as HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, and piping works on-site. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless workflow. Review mechanical drawings, plans, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements. Resolve on-site technical issues related to mechanical systems in a timely manner. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. Ensure all materials and equipment used are within specifications and properly stored on-site. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and proper installation of equipment. Enforce site safety practices and procedures. Support commissioning and testing of mechanical systems upon project completion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years experience as a site supervision for a reputable consulting engineering or MEP consultants firm within UAE. Minimum 7 years (overall inclusive of UAE) or minimum 5 years GCC (inclusive of UAE) experience within MEP contracting and/or MEP consulting engineering services. Computer literate Fluency in English, written & spoken. 4 year Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a accredited University.

Reticulation of domestic hot & cold water. Pressurized & gravity services. Pressurized & treated process water distribution. Sanitary soil & waste collection system. LPG systems. Chilled water networks (open & closed). Infrastructure (plot wide) layouts of any of the above. Fire fighting sprinkler & standpipes and inert gas protection systems. Articulate and ability to communicate ideas with team and management. Fluency in English. Formulate & prepare own spreadsheets for sizing of schematics, performing calculations, preparing equipment schedules. Knowledge of fundamental laws of hydraulics & pumps. Demonstrate clear ability to read Architectural & Structural drawings. Direct CAD staff and check produced work compliance to his design. Desirable but not mandatory. If compliant shall be entitled to progressive higher gross emoluments indicated within range provided. Fluent & with QA/QC experience is a plus.
