to supervise and manage all on-site mechanical works for building projects. The role involves overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and execute mechanical works at site as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth progress of works.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of:
HVAC systems (ducting, chillers, FCUs, FAHUs, ventilation)
Plumbing & drainage systems
Firefighting systems (pumps, sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants)
LPG and specialized piping systems.
Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (DM, DCD, DEWA, Trakhees, etc.) and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.).
Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and work inspection requests (WIRs).
Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
Attend site meetings and provide technical support to resolve design and construction issues.
Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and quality standards at site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering

Minimum
5 years' experience
in MEP construction projects (residential, or high-rise).
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures.
Good understanding of authority regulations and codes of practice.
