Job Description

Responsibilities:

Plan mechanical work based on project schedules, resources, and designs. Supervise the installation of mechanical systems like heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and firefighting systems. Interpret engineering drawings and plans to ensure accurate implementation on-site. Collaborate with design teams and suggest any necessary modifications. Work closely with civil and electrical teams to ensure integrated execution. Coordinate with project managers and other site engineers to avoid conflicts in system installations. Inspect and verify that installations meet the standards and specifications. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations. Manage materials and equipment, ensuring the right tools and components are available. Oversee the workforce, assign tasks, and ensure efficient site management. Ensure that all mechanical work complies with safety regulations and that workers are following safety protocols. Supervise the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring they are operational. Maintain project documentation related to mechanical works, such as progress reports, materials used, and inspection results. Overall ensures that all mechanical components are installed properly, tested, and operate safely within a construction project.
