Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Site Engineer

specialized in

Building Maintenance Units (BMU)

to manage site execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of BMU and facade access systems across high-rise and complex building projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong site coordination, technical expertise, and compliance with Saudi standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise

installation, alignment, testing and commissioning

of BMU systems, including cradle systems, monorails, davits, and roof cars. Review

approved shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals

related to BMU works. Coordinate with

main contractor, consultants, safety team, and client

for smooth site execution. Ensure BMU installations comply with

project specifications, approved drawings, manufacturer guidelines, and KSA codes

. Conduct

site inspections

, progress monitoring, and quality control checks. Plan and execute

load testing, functional testing, and final commissioning

of BMU systems. Identify and resolve

site technical issues

, clashes, or design discrepancies. Prepare

daily site reports, inspection requests (IR), test reports, and as-built documentation

. Ensure compliance with

HSE requirements

, including working at height and lifting operations. Coordinate material delivery, storage, and manpower deployment on site. Attend site meetings and provide technical input and progress updates.
Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent.

3-5 years of experience

in BMU, facade access systems, or similar mechanical site works. Proven experience working on

high-rise buildings

and complex facade systems. Good knowledge of

BMU standards

. Familiarity with

Saudi Aramco / NEOM / Vision 2030 project environments

is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret

shop drawings, structural interfaces, and mechanical details

. Strong coordination and communication skills. Knowledge of

HSE regulations in Saudi Arabia

. Proficiency in

MS Office

; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
