Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Sales Engineer to drive business growth by promoting and selling mechanical and industrial solutions across multiple sectors. The role involves outdoor sales, client visits, technical consultations, and revenue generation through strong customer relationships and solution-based selling. The ideal candidate will combine solid mechanical engineering knowledge with proven sales expertise to deliver value-driven solutions and achieve assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, develop, and manage new sales opportunities within assigned industries and territories.
Generate revenue through mandatory outdoor sales, regular client visits, and active business development.
Promote and sell mechanical products and solutions including HVAC/MEP systems, industrial equipment, fasteners, valves, piping systems, and construction-related mechanical materials.
Build and maintain a strong network of clients including contractors, consultants, EPC companies, distributors, and end users.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
Client Relationship Management
Develop long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
Conduct detailed client needs assessments and propose customized technical solutions.
Provide professional sales support, guidance, and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, telephone, email, and field activities.
Technical Sales & Support
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, quotations, and BOQs.
Collaborate with engineering, product development, procurement, and logistics teams to meet client requirements.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Recommend suitable products and solutions based on operational and project needs.
Market & Industry Knowledge
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Identify opportunities for product improvements, new product introductions, and market expansion.
Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.
Reporting & Coordination
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM data, and regular sales reports.
Track order progress, deliveries, and payment follow-ups.
Ensure compliance with company standards and sales processes.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in HVAC/MEP equipment, mechanical products, industrial machinery, Oil & Gas supplies, or construction?related mechanical systems.
Exposure to Middle East clients and markets is essential.
Valid UAE Driving License - mandatory.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical components such as pumps, valves, HVAC units, piping systems, fittings, and industrial equipment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Strong network of contractors, consultants, EPC companies, and decision?makers in the UAE.
Experience dealing with clients in UAE, Middle East, KSA, or Africa is an advantage.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Well?organized, self?driven, and experienced in field?based technical sales roles.
