Mechanical Ride Maintenance Technician

Job Description
:
Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical rides and amusement equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance of all rides and attractions. Inspect mechanical systems, bearings, shafts, and hydraulic or pneumatic components for wear or damage. Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting for ride malfunctions or breakdowns. Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with site and manufacturer standards. Maintain maintenance logs, inspection checklists, and service reports. Support periodic third-party inspections. Replace or repair defective mechanical parts and adjust components as needed. Monitor ride performance and report any abnormal sounds, vibrations, or operational issues. safe working practices in maintenance areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in ride or amusement equipment maintenance. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety procedures and lock-out/tag-out practices.
Additional Information:
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Physically fit and able to work at heights or confined spaces.
