We are seeking an experienced
Mechanical QA/QC Engineer
to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have10-12 years of experience
inquality assurance and quality control
within the construction industry, specifically inmechanical systems
. The role involves overseeing quality processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications, coordinating with consultants, and managing all related documentation.Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Compliance:
Prepare and submit
Inspection Requests (IRs)
and coordinate approvals. Conduct inspections and ensureinstalled mechanical systems
meet project and industry standards. Ensure compliance withQA/QC policies, codes, and regulations
.Documentation & Close-Out Process:
Manage and prepare
O&M manuals, As-Built drawings, and project close-out documents
. OverseeTesting & Commissioning (T&C) documentation
and ensure proper execution. Conducttraining sessions for client staff
on mechanical system operations.Quality Control & Non-Conformities:
Manage
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
and ensure timely corrective actions. Address and resolveSite Observation Notes (SONs)
. Implement and monitorquality control procedures
across the project.Coordination & Reporting:
Work closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality issues. Provide reports on
QA/QC progress and compliance
.Required Experience & Skills:
?
10-12 years
of relevant experience inmechanical QA/QC
roles within theconstruction industry
.? Strong knowledge of
mechanical installations, quality control processes, and project documentation
.? Experience in
handling NCRs, SONs, IRs, and T&C documentation
.? Ability to coordinate with
consultants and contractors
effectively.? Excellent organizational and communication skills.
