Review structural design drawings and prepare detailed fabrication drawings and shop sketches.
Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure accuracy of drawings.
Plan and monitor the fabrication process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of structural components.
Ensure that all fabricated components meet project specifications, industry codes, and quality standards.
Liaise with procurement teams for materials sourcing and ensure raw materials comply with standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in steel structural fabrication, preferably in the industrial sector.
Strong understanding of welding standards, steel grades, and fabrication codes (e.g., AWS, AISC).
Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and ensure alignment with fabrication processes.
