We are looking for a

Mechanical & Piping Lead

for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Doha, Qatar Onshore

Estimated Start Date: ASAP

Estimated End Date: 31 Oct 2027

Contract Duration: 36 Months

Qualification and Experience Required:

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience

8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g.,construction, installation, fabrication,execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Technical and Business Skills

Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies. Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope. Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope. Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities. Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects,subsurface, etc.
Key Job Accountabilities

Provides safety, Health and Environmental leadership by example to the Project Team and contractor, its sub-contractor and site vendors Responsible for ensuring the contractor team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables. To deliver project phase requirements, milestones as defined in schedule in line with COMPANY Management System To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Mechanical and piping operations and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards. To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all Mechanical and Piping subjects, commissioning and ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting. To contribute to the engineering, design check for the Mechanical and piping aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements by providing inputs To Participate to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, pre-Simops visits, technical meeting, Lesson learned etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential. To ensure Permit To Work preparation in due time with needed technical and HSE documentation, in line with standards. To Ensure the proper quality and traceability of the fabrication assisted if required To Ensure with Contractors/Subcontractors that all the built dossiers are properly handover to the Onshore and offshore Team.
